SUDWASH Joins the World to Celebrate Global Handwashing Day 2025

On October 15th, 2025, SUDWASH (Sustainable Development for Water Access, Sanitation, and Hygiene) will join the global community in celebrating Global Handwashing Day at Pantami Primary School, Gombe.

This year’s theme focuses on “Proper Handwashing Practices and Their Impact on Disease Prevention.”
The outreach will feature live handwashing demonstrations, interactive sessions with pupils, and distribution of soaps, sanitizers, and hygiene materials to promote clean and healthy living.

Through this event, SUDWASH aims to create awareness on the importance of hand hygiene in preventing illnesses and improving community health.
