SUDWASH is taking its first major steps toward transforming communities through sustainable WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives. Below are our current and upcoming projects designed to improve public health and empower lives across Nigeria.
Water Chlorination Project
SUDWASH has secured approval to begin chlorinating an 80,000-gallon community reservoir in Pantami Malamkuri. The project aims to provide safe drinking water and establish a system to monitor waterborne disease trends.
PadHer Initiative
The PAD HER INITIATIVE aims to distribute 1,000 sanitary pads over one year and provide menstrual hygiene education to women and girls in underserved communities. The project promotes dignity, empowerment, and health awareness, helping beneficiaries manage menstruation safely and confidently while improving overall well-being.
Handwashing Awareness Campaign
A planned outreach to educate and demonstrate proper handwashing techniques for community members, while distributing sanitizers and antiseptic soaps to promote hygiene and prevent disease.
